What are we up to at Milk Pail Market?
With winter coming to an end (well...maybe) things are starting to pick up! We have butchered our first batch of pasture raised chicken for the year, and the next batch has moved outside into the chicken tractor! New laying hens are coming on 3 months old and will start laying eggs in a month or so! The ducks are just happy to have their pond back now that the freezing temps are in the rear view (kinda...)
The next generation of milk cows have arrived safely at the farm! Ophelia + Saoirse are the newest additions! They are 7 week old registered jersey heifers. both A2/A2 of course! They are growing big and strong to be amazing milk cows in early 2026!
The milk cows have hit the pasture running and we are all enjoying an increase of that delicious golden fresh grass milk!
PASTURE RAISED POULTRY
Our first batch of pasture raised chicken will hit the website this Thursday! We had a successful processing day Mothers Day morning and are excited to supply you once again with some delicious, pasture raised chicken!
THE COWS
The milking girls have mooooooved to pasture! They are so, so happy, and we are all enjoying the abundance of that beautiful golden milk.
